Our puppies are properly socialized with 3 children. Alexis, Allison, and Madison have acquired a love dogs and have been showing since they were very young. We start the puppies on the bird wing at 7 weeks and during the summer the puppies are introduced to the water and learn how to swim at 7 weeks as well (depending on weather conditions).   We also introduce them to new atmospheres, smells and activities so they are very acclimated and relaxed going into their new homes.  We begin working on crate training and potty training with them as well. While some will take some time to adjust to the new routine once they go into their new homes, it's a great start to the foundation of their basic training. We do not offer training programs. 

 

We send updated pictures of the puppies weekly so you can watch them grow. When the puppies arrive we will give you a timeframe of when the puppies will be ready for their new homes. Once the babies turn about 6 weeks of age we begin the picking process.  You will be provided with photos, videos and descriptions of the puppies personalities and you will be able to decide which puppy you would like to welcome to your family.  We highly suggest picking your puppy based on temperament rather than looks and coloring. You are welcome to wait for the next litter at any time. The puppy will be held until 8 weeks of age.   At 8 weeks of age the puppies receive their Florida Certified Health Certificate by a veterinarian, this includes their first set of shots: Distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough vaccine) and deworming They also receive a negative fecal.   Once they receive a clean bill of health from the vet they can go to their new forever homes. 

 

Afterhours Kennel strives to breed dogs that have all their health certificates and are tested to be health certified free of hip & elbow dysplasia, thyroid, cardiac and CERF by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). At Afterhours Kennels we focus on correct breed type & conformation, great temperament, natural working ability and an all-around versatile & hard-working dog. All of our puppies are not sold with breeding rights and we recommend spaying and neutering once the dog is mature.  We actually have the most completely health tested (CHIC) GWP's than any other GWP breeder! 

  

We can fly with the puppy to your airport and deliver them right to your arms, they travel with us in cabin. We can meet you right outside security when the plane arrives. Prices vary depending on ticket prices. Families are also welcome to fly to our nearest airport (MCO/Orlando or GNV/Gainesville) and we meet them at the airport, then you can catch a return flight back home.  Cargo shipping is available on a limited basis and will cost $600-$700 including crate and airfare.

Afterhours dogs are welcome to come back home at anytime.
