After many years of owning German Wirehaired Pointers, we fell in love with the Basset Fauve de Bretagne.  This is an uncommon hound breed in the United States, originally from France and will be moving into the Hound Group in January 2026. We began our journey in Fauves by importing four lovely dogs to start our program. We are eager to use the knowledge that we have acquired over the years to help establish this breed, while keeping proper conformation, health, soundness and natural hunting ability in mind.  We proudly finished the first AKC Champion Basset Fauve de Bretagne, Clark and he even won the group from the classes. Clark's daughter, Bijou is the first American bred, first bitch and second Fauve to win a group.   We have been extremely successful in the show ring with our Fauves and are already setting records.
